The Hitch Extender connects to a 2" x 2" receiver, providing additional turning clearance. An optional steel step mounted to the top of the Hitch Extender offers easy access to the front of a boat, trailer top or the luggage rack on your vehicle. This extender will reduce your hitch's overall tongue-weight capacity by two-thirds of original capacity. Optional step dimensions: 6-1/2" x 17".
